Weekend Ride Invitations 10/13-14
With temps in the 60s and maybe even 70 on Sunday, you’ve got to get out on your bike. Here’s what I’m up to this weekend.

Wednesday at lunch I nearly turned on the lights. Shortly the rain began to fall. Thursday, on the other hand, was that crisp autumn day washed in brilliant sunshine that I think of as the ideal for cycling. I turned my 30 mile ride into 50 just to enjoy it. Here’s hoping Saturday will be another such day.
Saturday, 10/13/07 8:30 am Road Ride from the Southway boat launch. Winchester Century.
Expect chilly conditions at 8:30 and temps in the mid 50s in Winchester. I expect to ride up the grade in short sleeves but I’ll have a jacket for on top though it may not be necessary. Follow the link for more info as well as a map and photos.
Sunday, 10/14/07 1pm road ride from the Southway Boat launch.
I haven’t been to one of these yet this fall as Doug keeps getting me out on a mountain bike. Debbie, I think, is coming and Linda will probably want to spend time with her west coast friends after a week in Pennsylvania. Route and distance determined at ride time
All rides leave from the Southway Boat launch unless otherwise noted. Bad weather will keep me off my bike. How about you?
