10,000 miles in one month?
Sure, if you count all the miles TRC memberes and
their friends log during National Bike Month, May 1 through
May 31st.

|
Will you help us?
Just keep track of all your mileage
on a bicylce during the month of May and come back here
to record it. Record your mileage once each week or once
at the end of the month, it doesn't matter. Please follow
these guidlines:
If you record each week, use only your totals
for that week both for recreational and commuter
mileage. We don't want to count your miles more
than once.

What is a commuter mile? Keep it
simple. If I ride 20 miles and stop at the PO
box on the way home, I get to count the miles I'd
drive to that post office which for me is 7 x both
directions=14 miles commuting. So I count 20 miles
for total mileage and another 14 for commuting.
The difference is not recreational
mileage. When I'm on a bike all my miles are recreational.

Enter your miles each week on
Monday or
all at once on June 1.
Okay, here's a tip: don't try refreshing your browser
after you enter your mileage. I expected to see my mileage
appear and when it ddidn't, I refreeshed, twice. That's
why I've got three entries. I've deleted the last two
in the file but the form doesn't allow me to delete.
